My name is Anthony Margulis. I've been an avid photographer for the last 30 years.

My first camera was a 1970s Olympus OM-1. I’ve owned various film and digital cameras over the years. With film I used to develop my own negatives and positives. Sliding the negatives on the reels to process with chemicals, using enlargers on photo paper to make a print. Dodging and burning by hand was considered advanced post production.  As nostalgic as film sounds, shooting and producing images with film is a very unforgiving and slow process. I’ve since embraced digital.

I was born and raised on the Northern California coast. I currently live in Santa Clarita California.  My photography has always been a hobby that I didn’t really share with a lot of people.  Lately a few friends and colleagues have been complimenting my work, so I thought maybe I’ll start this website.

It’s really just a place for me to show some of my most recent and favorite works.  It’s currently still a work in progress, but with any hobby, I think it will always will be a work in progress.
